City National Bank announced today that it is renewing its partnership with Habitat for Humanity International with a donation of $322,500, which will help advance the organization’s mission of building and improving safe and affordable homes across the U.S.

Habitat for Humanity is deeply saddened by the passing of former U.S. first lady Rosalynn Carter, who was a champion and strong voice for affordable, decent housing for all.

Now in paperback: Habitat for Humanity CEO Jonathan Reckford shares stories of Habitat volunteers and future homeowners in his book, Our Better Angels: Seven Simple Virtues That Will Change Your Life and the World, with a foreword by Jimmy Carter.

With events in more than a dozen locations, City National hopes to help Habitat promote affordable, safe and decent housing across the U.S., including in Northern and Southern California, Las Vegas, New York City, Atlanta, Nashville and Washington, D.C.
