If you volunteer with Habitat for Humanity DeKalb in Atlanta, you might get the opportunity to work with construction supervisor Bobby Dunn.
“All of us at Habitat for Humanity are lifting up President and Mrs. Carter in prayer as he enters hospice care. We pray for his comfort and for their peace, and that the Carter family experiences the joy of their relationships with each other and with God in this time.”
Over five days, future homeowners will work alongside President and Mrs. Carter and hundreds of other volunteers from Indiana and around the world to build or improve about 30 homes in Mishawka and South Bend.
After more than a year of renovations performed by more than 900 volunteers, one Habitat family is excited to start the New Year in their new home.
“The entire Habitat for Humanity family is praying for Mrs. Carter and President Carter as she enters hospice care at their home. We pray that they continue to experience the blessings of time with their family and with each other, and they draw comfort from knowing people around the world are sending them prayers, love and support.”
