Wells Fargo donates $18 million to strengthen Habitat for Humanity’s work in local communities

Eleven local Habitats will receive a grant to implement revitalization projects, including neighborhood beautification and repairs to community common areas.
Four organizations will serve as keystone partners of Habitat for Humanity’s response to Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, each making contributions of $1 million or more to support the Habitat Hammers Back initiative.
Since the national partnership began in 2003, Lowe’s and Habitat have worked together to help more than 18,000 people build or improve a place to call home.
Yulisa and Guillermo yearn for a home where their son, Cesar, will have the freedom to play and grow. Now the couple is building an affordable Habitat home with the help of Wells Fargo volunteers and the Wells Fargo Foundation.
Proceeds from our nonprofit home improvement stores and donation centers, otherwise known as ReStores, help fund Habitat for Humanity’s worthy cause.
