Dow and Habitat collaboration enters its 35th year and will add new technologies to help make communities healthier and homes more sustainable for families in need of decent and affordable housing.
Sharnita applied to become a Habitat homeowner because she wanted to provide a better life for her children. “Having a home where my kids feel peaceful, loved and safe is the most important thing to me,” says the mother of five and U.S. Air Force veteran.
Since the national partnership began in 2003, Lowe’s and Habitat have worked together to help more than 18,000 people build or improve a place to call home.
Nissan has contributed more than $15.5 million to Habitat nationally since 2005 and its 2018 donation will fund home builds in 12 communities where Nissan employees live and work.
Habitat for Humanity International and DuPont announced they are renewing their annual global partnership. As part of the collaboration, DuPont will donate products to local Habitat for Humanity affiliates and provide cash donations to support employee volunteer builds around the world.
Wells Fargo’s donation will help Habitat build capacity for its operations in local communities and assist with ongoing disaster recovery efforts.
