The Harvey Hubbell Foundation, the charitable foundation managed by Hubbell Incorporated, today announced it is continuing its partnership with Habitat for Humanity, contributing $100,000 to Habitat’s Homes, Communities, Hope + You campaign.
Habitat for Humanity International recently received a $7.56 million grant to support 362 AmeriCorps member positions, marking the largest service member grant the global housing nonprofit has received in the past 10 years. The increased funding is part of AmeriCorps’ historic $580 million investment to better support national service and volunteerism.
As vital services are restored and first responders stand down, Habitat is ramping up its response through a three-phase recovery plan.
In the U.S., we work in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. In Canada, we work in all 10 provinces and each of the three territories.
Our resources hub is a launching point for the other housing organizations to learn about and implement Habitat’s innovative aging in place solutions, resources and data with the goal of helping even more older adults age in the homes and communities they love.
