Carter Work Project 2014

Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter and hundreds of volunteers joined families in Dallas and Fort Worth to help build and renovate homes.

Habitat for Humanity International announces new collaboration with InSinkErator

Over the next year, InSinkErator, a Whirlpool Corporation brand, will donate a Badger 1 Model Garbage Disposal for each new Habitat home construction or rehabilitation as well as critical home repair projects including kitchen sink replacements.

Deck the halls

Each year since 2007, the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree on display in New York City is milled and donated to Habitat to use in construction projects. Lumber from the 2022 tree was used to build a deck and planter boxes at Sarah’s Habitat home in Corinth, New York.

Help us change the outlook for more families

A hand offered in help is a powerful catalyst for change. When Habitat families and volunteers build side by side, everyone shares a new perspective.

Every one

With a little help, all of us have the potential to stand on our own. You can do something right now to help make that possible for another family.

DIY bathroom vanity from wooden pallets

Taking old pallets and turning them into a new sink vanity proves that reusable materials really can be found anywhere.

“We have the power to change anything”

To Mardee Tangian, home means everything. Since 2018, Mardee has volunteered with Habitat Philippines to bring that vision of a world where everyone — families like hers, their neighbors and residents everywhere — can benefit from the stable foundation that solid homes and communities provide, especially in the face of disaster.

Habitat for Humanity International receives $1.25M grant to support long-term disaster recovery work in Kentucky

The donation will be used to support staff capacity and training, subsidize the cost of adding a FORTIFIED roof to 21 new homes, fund the construction of safe rooms in five homes and more.

Together, we build better lives

Your financial support is a sound investment in a family’s future and helps us build much more than houses. Together, we’re helping families build strength, stability and self-reliance.

Statement regarding President Jimmy Carter
