Celebrating International Women’s Day on March 8, Habitat for Humanity and Lowe’s unite hundreds of volunteers to build and repair homes internationally while spotlighting women’s voices on global affordable housing needs.
Through Habitat for Humanity’s tithe program, our U.S. affiliates are expected to contribute 10% of their unrestricted revenue each year in support of Habitat’s global ministry.

For the veterans and their families who make sacrifices for others’ freedom, Owens Corning Roofing and its network of independent Platinum Contractors, along with support from the Owens Corning Foundation, will donate roofing materials and labor to Habitat.
Earlier this year, The Annie Selke Companies donated $1 million dollars in rugs and bedding to their local Habitat for Humanity in support of affordable housing in Western Massachusetts. Now the company is expanding that partnership to help families around the world build strength and stability through shelter.
The recycling initiative begins June 1 and invites 140 local Habitat organizations to work with their local civic groups, businesses and community partners to improve sustainability in their communities.
