After a 2021 tornado outbreak, families in two of the affected Kentucky communities worked alongside volunteers to build their homes during blitz builds supported by The Home Depot Foundation.
Under this first-of-its-kind global initiative, every home sold by Arada across its projects in the UAE, UK and Australia throughout the year will directly fund the construction of a new home for a vulnerable family. Home for a Home has a minimum annual target of 4,000 homes.

In November 2020, Tvasta Manufacturing printed a 600-square-foot home in concrete over the course of 30 days, made possible with investment from Habitat’s ShelterTech. With improvements, the start-up hopes to cut that time down to about a week.
