Since the national partnership began in 2003, Lowe’s and Habitat have worked together to help more than 18,000 people build or improve a place to call home.
To help those who have served our country, The Home Depot Foundation has donated over $3 million to Habitat for Humanity International’s Repair Corps to build, repair or rehabilitate homes in partnership with U.S. veterans and their families.
Lowe’s surpasses goal, builds or repairs 1,009 homes in 2016.
This year, the company is providing more than $6.3 million in grant funding through the 2024 Wells Fargo Builds program to support new home construction, renovation and repair of more than 280 affordable homes in 175 communities across the U.S.
Low-income families are bearing the greatest brunt of the impact of climate change. At Habitat, we partner with financial institutions from around the world to provide the products and services that families need to build a stronger home for themselves.
The donation will be used to help families and communities rebuild stronger and more resilient places to call home.
