Homeowner Youkhanna is one of Habitat for Humanity’s biggest advocates. “I tell people in the grocery, in church, wherever I go, how Habitat for Humanity has changed my life.”
On June 12, Habitat for Humanity will launch our first national advocacy campaign to mobilize local Habitat organizations, partners, volunteers and community members across the country to find solutions and help create policies that will allow 10 million individuals to have access to affordable homes.
In the time since Hurricane Irma hit Florida in 2017, we have been hard at work helping families build or repair safe, affordable homes across the state in areas hit by the storm and providing disaster-related services to affected families as well.
Everyone deserves a decent place to live, and everyone can do something today to help make that possible for another family.
