At a time when a safe and healthy home has never been more important, Habitat Humanitarians, designers and renovators Drew and Jonathan Scott joined Habitat for Humanity in Long Beach, California today to lead a volunteer build.
When Hurricane Harvey tore into Texas in September 2017, six local Habitat for Humanity organizations responded as soon as floodwaters ebbed. In the time since, Habitat has built or repaired homes with families in affected communities, in addition to providing disaster-related services and loans to homeowners.
In addition to a $1 million donation to Habitat and two other organizations, Nissan will actively promote local volunteer opportunities and ways TITAN enthusiasts can get involved through a new campaign website, CallingAllTITANs.com.
Financial support and housing programs from federal agencies like the U.S. Department of Agriculture can have a major impact on the number of families Habitat affiliates can partner with. For North St. Louis County Habitat in rural Minnesota, USDA funding has helped the affiliate increase their affordable homebuilding.

More than 200 ISEC employees will build or repair homes alongside Habitat homeowners this year through the company’s national partnership with Habitat for Humanity.
