Neighbors build community through multifamily homes

Brenda and Heidi were both searching for healthy homes where they could pay an affordable mortgage, and they found them in Habitat Midland’s multifamily community. Now the two women live in sustainable homes built with the support of Habitat and DuPont where they can feel safe and secure.

Habitat for Humanity International and AbbVie announced today the completion of their successful five-year partnership that supported the global housing nonprofit organization’s long-term disaster recovery efforts in Puerto Rico.

Verizon commits $1 million to support Habitat for Humanity’s Hurricane Michael recovery efforts in Gulf Coast

To help families recover from Hurricane Michael, Verizon announced its foundation is providing $1 million in support of Habitat for Humanity’s recovery efforts. In addition, more than 20 volunteers from Verizon are on hand helping to raise the walls on the latest home being built in the Florida Panhandle.
