Habitat doesn’t just build new houses; we also do repairs like help painting Jo and John’s house when money was tight for the couple. Now they volunteer for us.
Taking a step toward a greener future together, Macon Area Habitat and students from Mercer University’s engineering department worked with six homeowners to design and install solar photovoltaic systems on the roofs of their Habitat homes.

Carter Work Project volunteers lend a hand to the Charlotte community’s work building a thriving neighborhood at the historic site where an all-Black, segregation-era school called Plato Price stood.
