One year after the historically devastating hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria, Habitat for Humanity continues to work with affected communities in Texas, Florida and Puerto Rico and the Caribbean.
With Abbvie’s support, Habitat will partner directly with hurricane-affected families to address their shelter needs as part of the the long-term solution for Puerto Rico.
The weeklong 2018 Carter Work Project has come to a close, but for Habitat families and volunteers, the event is a lasting testament to community and the belief that everyone deserves a decent home.
The 2018 Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project marked the 35th year that the former president and first lady built alongside volunteers and future Habitat homeowners.
